A good starter / party snacks can really make your party a super hit. Chef Ruchi Bharani comes up with 3 simple and quick party appetizers which need minimal cooking yet taste yummy. So go ahead and impress your guests.
Cream Cheese Tortilla Pinwheels
1/2 cup soften cream cheese
2 tbsp onions (finely chopped)
1 small tomato (chopped and deseeded)
1 green chilli (chopped & deseeded)
1 small spring Onion (finely chopped)
Salt
Pesto Tomato Sandwich
1 cup Pesto Sauce
1 tbsp cream cheese
Tomato Slices
Italian pizza seasoning / Salt & Pepper
Salad:
1 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tsp Honey
Cherry Tomato
Basil Leaves
Mozzarella Cubes
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper
– Mix cream cheese, onions, tomato, green chilli, spring onion, salt well. To make a cream cheese spread.
– Warm the tortillas on both sides for few seconds.
– Spread a nice thick layer of cream cheese mixture on roasted tortillas
– Roll it tightly and wrap it and refrigerate it till its served
– Apply the pesto mix on bread and place the tomato slices on it after sprinkling some Italian pizza seasoning
– Close the sandwich by putting another slice of pesto spread cladded bread
– Wrap the sandwich and refrigerate it
– Boil the vinegar for about 5 mins and add honey to it and mix it
– Add cherry tomato, basil leaves, mozzarella cube to skewers and drizzle some olive oil and balsamic vinegar mix, salt and pepper to it.
-Take the sandwich out from the refrigerator and cut out the sides of the bread
– Cut the sandwich in 3 strips and plate it
– Cut out the sides of the tortillas and cut it into pieces
– Take out the wraps and plate it and all the three appetizer is ready to be served.

For the sandwiches: cut the edges before spreading the pesto/cream cheese
mix. This way you do not waste the little spread which sticks onto the
edges. You can also cut crosswise and make 4 mini triangle sandwiches. I
also take 1 slice of white bread and 1 slice of wheat bread – looks
colorful.
