Mom’s Taco Bake

Food Ingredients:
1 pound of ground beef or turkey 1 packet of taco seasoning 1 bag of Mexican Cheese 1 can of refried beans 1 can of corn 1/4 cup salsa 2 cans of crescents 3/4 cup white rice

Recipe preparation:
1 Preheat oven to 350. 2 Then, prepare the rice according to the directions on the box. It’s ok to use the microwave rices to save time. 3 Brown the meat and add the taco seasoning according to the packet’s directions. 4 Create a crust by lining the baking dish with the crescent rolls. Be sure to cover the bottom and the sides. 5 When the rice is done cooking mix it in a bowl with the refried beans and drained corn. 6 Now you will being the layering. Start with a thin layer of refried bean mixture, followed by cheese, then salsa and lastly taco meat. Repeat until you reach the top and then sprinkle a nice helping of cheese. Use a spatula to help spread the layers. 7 Place in the oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and crust golden brown.
