I don't understand why people seem to find it hard Really . I've been on a lot of different diets < where you have to count everything. It's crazy and you just get sooo frustrated !! I'm Paleo w/ Primal twist. Eat whole ( Natural ) foods . If man processed it leave it alone. Low carb veg. Not a lot of protein/ good fats . Simple !! Not for everyone but what is ?

Excellent questions!
Raw, grass-fed, pastured dairy is great, including butter, but most people need to cut it out for a while (30-60 days), then reintroduce and see how they feel. Never pasteurized dairy.
Animal meat shouldn't be lean, since the fat is where most of the micronutrients are stored.
I can't give specific advice re your medical condition, but in general, it can help diabetics to remove/limit fruits and tubers until they regain insulin sensitivity.
Hi Jeremy; When you mentioned no dairy, does this include raw grass fed pastured milk products, no butter? What about animal fat, should animal protein be lean? I'm a diabetic and worry about eating too many carbs found in fruits and vegetables especially most tubers. Should I be concerned?
