The Cheapest and Tastiest Burger in the World!

This is in Kharader, one of the oldest parts of Karachi where I grew up – and so did the founder of Pakistan (M Ali Jinah). At PKR16.00 (USD0.20) this is surely one of the cheapest burgers in the world. A lot of people in my family and friends, including me, believe this may also be the tastiest burger in the world.

The patty is made of potato and vegetables, then dipped in battered egg and pan fried in vegetable oil. It’s then put in a traditional bread with sauces made of yogurt and mint, and lots of onions. Mostly healthy stuff except for the oil, but not the most hygienic in the world 🙂

I have seen this stall sell exactly the same burger since I was five (1970). As kids, we used to buy from the old man who died a few years ago, but his son has taken the family business to another level by taking up a small room behind the stall which can seat up to 10 people. He sells an estimated 2000 burgers a day!

    Streetfood is the only food where its allowed to overcook eggs and still
    make it taste good. I like it, wish I could taste more of it, but I

    mmm looks so tasty and fresh and to the stupid people saying it is
    unhygienic, fucking grow some balls and take a bite! I would rather eat
    this over Macdonalds any day!

    Ok they’re living and eating like they’re at McDonald’s…But I’m used to
    food being prepared at a higher standard…HEALTH DEPT Cleanliness is what
    our restaurants strive for!…They are on a grading system that guides them
    to prepare , cook and serve food the PROPER way!…It is to ensure our
    citizens that we would NOT get sick, IF our immune systems are not that
    strong!…It is for EVERYBODY’S safety!.
    .If I passed by this stall?…..I would have thrown up.. and fainted
    on sight!…Basically because I get violently sick at the smell of RAW
    eggs!…I wouldn’t say I wouldn’t TRY street foods there…just not this
    particular one!….Too many negatives.

    Pathatic, obase fools who eats chemicals and artificial, GMO foods…..,
    who never cares what is added to there foods……, who never cares what
    there children are eating at schools (please watch the videos of lunches in
    US schools)…,for whom snacks means synthatic food like funions cheetos
    pop tarts nd ‘HOT DOGS'(god knows what is in that suausage)…,

    like they just woke up from nightmare and screeming hygine…. hygine….

    People from developed nations commenting that this is gross and full of
    bacteria and shit…..understand people who live here….have very high
    immunity……they can eat such things and still wake up happy…while
    you’ll wake up too but with diarrhoea……..grow some immunity…go out
    and play….
