so you can't taste the extra virgin olive oil on this crust?  I imagine it's ok for savory pie, but for a sweet pie dish, i always have this feeling that you can taste the extra virgin olive oil.

hi, i know this video was made a while ago – but i'm planning on using this recipe to make mini jam tarts. I shouldn't need to pre-bake it right?

Hi Little Rock (MeetMary) , This recipe is great for mini tarts too, but I recommend you pre bake them..the pie crust could get soggy depending on your filling. 10 minutes should do the trick, and don't forget to use whatever oil you like. I like Coconut oil or Grapeseed Oil for desserts. Good luck!:) Lillian xx
