How to Make Easy Oven Fried Chicken

No popping hot grease, no turning chicken, no hot, smokey “fried” smelling kitchen….yep…these are all the reasons why I love oven fried chicken.

This oven fried chicken recipe is full of flavor without all of the greasiness from deep fried chicken. I love how it’s easy enough to whip up on weekday.

You can certainly use whatever chicken cuts you have available and adjust the seasoning.

If you want your chicken to be crunchy, you can use a 2 day old baguette
bread that you turn into bread crumbs. First dip the chicken into the egg
wash, then in the seasoned flour, then back into the egg wash and then roll
on the bread crumbs. Spray some oil on the chicken and put in oven.

I cant believe some people are asking on here at what temperature she baked
the chicken at when she clearly stated at the beginning of the video to
preheat at 400 degrees lol !!!!

Hi Mark from UK – just tried this – great recipe thank you – “gestimated”
the seasoning from what I had but the idea of putting the seasoning on
first is inspired and I got some really tasty chicken without stinking the
    house out frying !

Made this today for lunch and wow it tasted really delicious.. i don’t feel
so guilty eating it because it wasn’t fried in oil.. I love it.. This will
be my go-to recipe when I’m craving for a crispy chicken.. Thank u Monique

Hello, and thank you for your great video! I do something very similar like
your recipe and you can also put what ever hot sauce or make a glaze to out
on top. The skys the limit. 🙂 These are so simple to do also, and no
splatter on the face and arms. I have tried to make fried chicken for years
and can’t do it to save my life ,i don’t know why mine never comes out
right. No patience i guess. I did a brine first with once for chicken
quarters over night , next day rinsed them off in cold water /patted
dry/dredged in flour and put in skillet just long enough to brown them . I
coated like your doing with oil and baked 350 f for about 45 minutes and
they come out very good. If you have a fried chicken recipe would you mind
putting it up please as would like to learn how to do a decent pan fried
chicken. Maybe i will get it this time , i don’t want to deep fry but
shallow fry. Thanks for listening. Cheers 🙂 Lana
