Candied walnuts are so addicting I couldn’t stop eating them! They are amazing. If you have a sweet tooth you are going to find these irresistible.

The nice thing is, they don’t take but a mere 5 to 7 minutes to make and they store nicely for future use.

Ingredients:
1 cup walnuts
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 to 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
pinch of salt

Directions:
Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Have a baking sheet lined with parchment paper set aside for when you need it.

Preheat a 10 inch frying pan over medium high heat. Add the walnuts, the sugar, and a pinch of salt.

Stir the mixture until the sugar starts to melt. Keep stirring the mixture until all the sugar dissolves. Turn the heat down a bit as you go.

Keep stirring frequently so the nuts get well coated and don’t burn.

Once the sugar is completely dissolved and the nuts are well coated you can pour the nuts into your baking pan.

Spread the walnuts out with a couple of forks. Let cool and serve.
