*How Is Your Blog Doing? Why Not Give Youtube A Try?*
Let me say first that I’m not against blogs. When I compare my blog against
my Youtube videos, there is no comparison. It makes blogging seem like a
total waste of my time. You may be in the same boat. I do not read many
blogs these days.
*I’m just a guy trying to build a couple Youtube channels. I’m not a Guru.
I do get amazed at how some of my videos perform and I thought I would
share to possibly motivate you to make videos yourself.
*Note, if you are a Guru blogger or a Guru G+ person, just ignore this info
because you already probably know all of this. When you have a Zillion
followers and get (8) +1’s and 12 likes whenever you post something genius,
I’m just not in that stratosphere. I bet your Adsense checks from G+ &
Facebook are quite huge also.
Here is a video about my *Chicken Wing Recipe* that I uploaded on Dec. 20,
2013. My wife and I had decided to eat wings that night and it was a spur
of the moment video with no planning whatsoever which is obvious.
*Facts about this video:*
15,538 lifetime views so far.
9,493 minutes of watched minutes. (That’s 158 hours)
Over 3500 views in the last 30 days.
Males have watched 71% & females 29%.
Youtube has been 80% of the traffic source.
So far this video would have paid for more than 5 months of Netflix.
The video has been watched on mobile phones 38% of the time.
The CPM is more than $10. (That’s pretty good)
The views are growing each month. The 1st. month had 594 views.
My best keywords for this video have been “chicken wings recipe”
Surprisingly, this video has only gained me 2 subscribers.
Many of my friends here on G+ has cooked this recipe and shared this video.
It’s not unusual to get mentioned in a post and someone tells me they are
cooking my wing recipe that night. Off the top of my head, +Keith
Bloemendaal, +Brenda McDonald, +Dennis Bullard among many others have told
me how much they enjoyed the recipe and have shared my video. That would
have never happened if I had written the most awesome blog post known to
man.
The whole video took almost no effort on my part. I just wanted to share my
awesome chicken wing recipe. Now imagine if you (yes you) had 1000 videos
just like this on your Youtube Channel? It could make a serious impact on
your financial situation.
So I ask again. How is your blog doing? How is spending so much time here
on G+ and FB working out for you? Youtube is the most important Social
Media site that we will ever participate in. What’s holding you back?
I like you : )
Good fortune and good health to you good friend.
I chose 4 different wing recipes to make for the Super Bowl and this one
was one of the best and also one of the easiest. I didn’t have any Italian
dressing, so I looked up recipes online and made some of my own. You
definitely need to get rid of the excess sauce before broiling….I smoked
up the house a bit. lol The wings turned out juicy yet crispy on the
outside. The flavor was good. I will definitely make these again!
Thanks!
Deep fry them in peanut oil for 12 minutes. Take them out then add Garlic,
Salt, pepper, and buffalo mix (Hot sauce + butter + garlic),then eat!
You’ll thank me later.
Im making these wings right now! Cant wait to taste them!
Steve I was so for sure that wing bowl was going to hit the floor as you
were hand tossing the wings. But cool it didn’t I will try this recipe this
coming weekend. Thanks Guy….
Dude that’s way to much salt! To keep your salt consumption in a healthy
range, limit your use of table salt, opting instead for salt-free seasoning
blends, or herbs and spices that enhance flavor without adding salt; keep
several shakers of these spices handy at the table during mealtimes.
Thanks for sharing going to try this!
I remember when I visited the south and they cooked their wings in the
oven. I couldn’t eat them.
Try the New York way and deep fry them.
Trust me.
those don’t look that good and get a rack for your pan so they don’t burn
that looked like a burnt pile of shit when they came out to be honest. Deep
fry with a confit method at different temperatures to actually make them
extra crispy without that unnecessary burn
Looks great.will try,thank you !!!!!
Love me some wings! Giving this recipe a try!
I have been searching for a simple chicken wing recipe, and it looks like I
found a good one. We love Siracha sauce and Italian dressing so it just
has to be good. I’m having family over for tomorrow night for dinner and
am looking forward to trying out your recipe. Thanks a bunch!
Only a bowl mate? i’d have like 5 or 6 bowls of that shiiittt lol
