Healthy Oven Fried Chicken with an Unexpected Breading that is “NO CARBS” Perfect for Diabetics

A bunch of my subscribers had told me to use this to make breading for my chicken and I did and oh my goodness, it was awesome. I love fried chicken but making it like this in the oven and having it all crispy and crunchy is like fooling your mouth. LOL Give this a try…you will love it!!

Once a week. when we go grocery shopping, I get one bag of those pork
rinds in plain flavour. The ones we get in Canada are called Baken-ets and
come in a 70 gram bag for $1.45. I don’t think the bag would ever last long
enough to coat chicken with. LOL. Looks good Debbie. Making pork chops
again tonight. Now you got me wanting to bread them and stick them in the
oven. I got a box of brown rice triscuits that are roasted red pepper and
red bean and I may just do that.

Hi Deb, I’ve never heard of breading chicken with pork rinds, I’m glad it
turned out good. What I have heard of and done is use them to bread cubed
steak, chicken fried steak, and they are great as a filler in meatloaf
instead of bread crumbs or crackers. They also make an awesome breading for
hamburger steaks and pork chops. There are probably a lot more things that
you can use them for, these are just the things that I have personally used
them for and they’re great. =)
