Oh my lord, I have to make this. Reminds me of home back in Brooklyn years
ago when I used to make this every Friday.
Also, pardon my American-ness-ness Gennaro and friends, but what is
“Rocket” exactly? It looks like some sort of arugula? I’m going to assume
it is, and that’s what the rest of the world calls it, and my dumb country
has to name it something else :D
That looks delicious! I’ve always wanted to know a good way to making
italian meatballs with sauce. I will definately try this one day.

i wouldnt put too much sauce on the bread before putting it in the oven, i
would put it on after it came out to let the bead toast a bit more.

I like it the best when Gennaro and Jamie cook together. They have such a
great chemistry, so much fun to watch.
Gennaro and Jamie simply rock. Their recipes and tips are always helpful
and both are an inspiration. Last Saturday I made pasta Bianco, following
the recipe Jamie gives with a food processor without a pasta machine. I
must confess it was not very easy to work on it during 10 minutes, but it
the meal was absolutely fantastic. And of course I will try these meatballs
next Wednesday after coming back from the street market with all those
fresh products, like celery, carrots, basil and parsley.
