Crispy Fried CHICKEN TENDERS – How to make FRIED CHICKEN TENDERS Recipe

CHICKEN TENDER RECIPE

2 lbs. chicken tenders or chicken breast cut into strips
2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
3 eggs
2-4 cup panko crumbs
1/2 cup vegetable oil

Marinate chicken in buttermilk overnight in refrigerator.

Add flour into shallow dish…set aside.

Beat eggs in a shallow dish with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Add panko crumbs to shallow dish…set aside.

Drain chicken strips from buttermilk. Add chicken strips, one at a time, to flour and coat well. Dip floured chicken strips into egg mixture coating well. Roll floured, egg dipped chicken strips into panko crumbs until well coat.

Add oil to large skillet over medium heat. Fry chicken tenders in heated oil. Fry on each side for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove cooked chicken tenders and drain on cooling rack.

    Okay… when you said “you can’t get better chicken tender than this.” I
    have to disagree. Con-fit chicken tenders sounds a bit more appealing. Just
    saying.
    -ask me, I’ll describe in detail how to do this. And yes, this is time
    consuming.

    Success! I was waiting for you to say “don’t overcrowd your skillet.”
    …hint: for those making a huge batch for the family or a guest party..
    preheat your oven at 200 deg. and keep a sheetpan on the middle wrack, and
    when tenders are done place them on a sheetpan to keep warm.
