Bitter Gourd With Soft Pork Ribs
Food Ingredients:
500 grams Soft Pork Ribs 1 teaspoon Sugar 1 teaspoon Sesame oil 2 tablespoons Corn flour 2 tablespoons Corn oil Marinate soft pork ribs with all the above for at least few hours 1 teaspoon Dark soy sauce 1/2 tablespoon Light soy sauce 1 teaspoon Sesame oil 1 teaspoon Chicken powder 1/2 teaspoon Pepper Mix seasoning with 250ml water Deep fry or shallow fry soft pork ribs till just cooked.
Recipe preparation:
1 400-500g Bitter gourd (remove seed, cut to about 5mm thick slices) 2 1 to 1 1/2 tbsp Fermented black beans (wash and roughly chopped) 3 Shallots (cut finely) 1 tbsp Garlic (chopped) 1/2 tbsp Ginger (minced) 2-3 Chillies (cut finely) 3 Heat some oil in non-stick pan, fry fermented black beans, shallots, garlic and chillies. 4 Add in bitter gourd with 1 tbsp Chinese cooking wine, fry well. 5 Then pour the bitter gourd into the soft pork ribs and simmer for another 10-15 minutes till bitter gourd become tender. 6 Serve hot with rice.
