Sorry bro, but u cant cook, ur getting it all wrong. You dont soak chicken wings in water, that does not make sense. If you are going to pr soak, you soak the wings in a brine or in the buttermilk. not water, thats idiotic. Plus, again your not seasoning ur chicken, u just added the egg batter and flour, what u have is chicken thats bland, plus the water that u had soak the chicken in is making the oil splatter more. I think I would skip the part of soaking them in water. That oil was raucous when the wings went in and I suspect it is from the water. The wings, if fresh, should have enough moisture on their own to facilitate a nice bubbling/cooking in the oil. A tip I would like to share is the next time you're at the grocery store ask then for a paper bag. They make WONDERFUL media for allowing foods that have been deep fried to wick away the oil from them and give you a better chance of having a more crispy product. I do it with my pan fried chicken thighs all the time and they're still crispy the next day. The wings in this video were just laid out on a plate with the oil surrounding the bottom of the wings. No crispiness there! 🙂 Kudos to the cook for putting it out there and giving us something to hash over; but that's another recipe!

When you fry things, even bacon always put it on a paper towel, so it can suck up the execess grease.

Few probs with this video 1st water was useless 2nd the seasonings you used are the same ones I use when frying chicken but you should have sprinkled it on the chicken as well 3rd wings should fry a solid 12 minutes. The breading on your 5 minute chicken was under done and loose and I'm sure the meat was pink still. Not hating just tips try them and you will see the difference

Never a good idea to fry like this with a open flame in a small pot. If that oil rolls over you are going to have a house fire in seconds and that oil was right on the edge. The best way to fry is in a WOK just a tip.
