Why do I venture out and try other banana bread recipes?! Only to return to Chef John's recipe that has always been successful each time I have tried it. Just made a loaf and got it out of the oven a minute ago. Can't wait to dig in.

I just made this and it tastes great!!! I actually forgot to put the eggs but they still tastes as good.. Gotta add more chocolate chip to this next time! :D
My banana bread is in the oven as I type this, and I came across a serious problem! Fifteen minutes in, my top was completely black, and I took it out of the oven and set my fire alarm off! I was wondering how I can fix that problem? I put it in the top rack.
I was able to salvage some non-burnt parts before putting it into the oven again (with foil over the top!), and I have to say, it is absolutely delicious. Thanks for the video!
just made with chef john's ingredient along with almonds, shredded coconut and a splash of whipping cream.. the whole house smells so delicious and it came out awesome!

If I want to make it as a chocolate banana bread how much cocoa powder should I add?
This bread came out looking perfect! Best one I've ever seen! Next time can you be a little more specific on the amount of ingredients added to the bandanna bread.
