I always joke that my three top food groups are bacon, ice cream, and potato chips. That’s one reason these bacon-wrapped chicken tenders are regulars in our dinner rotation. But they’re not just tasty — they’re seriously fast and easy. Four ingredients and 20 minutes for a main course everyone will love? You can’t beat that. Serve it with “whatever’s in the fridge” salad.

Recipe Ingredients
2 heads romaine lettuce (ends trimmed)
1 red pepper (optional)
1 or 2 carrots, peeled
8 fresh sage leaves
8 chicken tenders (about 1 1/4 pounds)
8 slices bacon
About 3 tablespoons plus 1/2 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
2 teaspoons mustard
Juice of one lemon
