Bacon is NOT healthy. And we don’t know enough about what our ancestors ate
to determine what a paleo diet is. Some research even points to us eating
NO meat in the beginning of human kind

    Does dairy include goat?

I am so mad right now…I just read an article that talked about the Paleo
Diet and I cant find it anymore to put the link in…But overall it stated
that there weren’t enough scientific evidence to show what EXACTLY our
ancestors ate and also, the animals they ate waayyy back then didn’t even
look like the animals we eat now, same for fruits and veggies, because of
evolution. People who lose weight on this diet tend to do so because they
are watching what they eat and stop eating junk food and refined sugars and
all that and that is why they notice a difference.

Everything really is bigger in America. Look at those carrots – they’re
    HUGE

This is the standard definition given to the so called “Paleo diet” but
it’s not accurate. In fact the name “Paleo diet” itself is misleading. As
far as I know it started with guys like Loren Cordain who had the
hypothesis that out bodies evolved to eat certain foods just like all other
animal species. There have been numerous studies and research done and it
has evolved just like we have. It has very little to do with “what cavemen
ate.” That was only the starting point. Now it has become an
“antiinflammatory diet” but that’s not as catchy and marketable. It is an
elimination diet, it’s about eliminating foods that cause inflammation,
like gluten, and keeping omega 3 (inflammatory) and omega 6
(antiinflammatory) in balance, and so on.

    Paleo bullshit

I did this diet once and ended up in the hospital. Your husband is on point
when he said he does great with carbs.
Not every ancient society ate paleo. Asain ones always had rice, very
    northern ones rarely had fruit.
Our genetic mskeup is not the same, and doesn’t stem back thousandS of
years but roughly 1 thousand, eaf according to your ancestors znd where
they were located at that time. Iv you’re mixed, like my baby wil be (half
north African half dutch) there are certain tests to take to see which
diets are “best”. As my husband grew up in North Africa, his body thrives
on loads of rice & a small amount fatty meats like lamb, and thats about
it. I need more protein than him, and waaay less carbs, bjt essentially I’m
a “mixed type” which means my body requires an even balance of protein to
healthy carbs. My husband is a carb type, meaning he needs more carbs. He’s
in optimal health when he eats 2/3 main daily meals with almost no protein
    except maybe an egg.

I don’t think our prehistoric ancesters had smoothies.

  11. SH33RGAMEX

Eat more fish its better because after a while meat will start to slow you
    down

  12. TheLaLa

i dont know why they call it paleo.. should be called hunter gatherer

  13. Cory Cool Dangerous

    That food looks amazing.

After giving births= I noticed I need more protein to keep up with my milk
supply. I was so concern with the new breakfast, it seems heavy to me but
that’s what my body and baby needs. I have heard a lot about eggs, what’s
your opinion? your family seems to love it lol.!!!

  15. satansaccomplice

    id be cautious of cholesterol.

  16. chris weston

Go Wisconsinites!! I could not go a day without cheese! Went to state fair
this weekend and had a dairy overload but sooooo good

  17. Katie Kookaburra

Come on Mama Natural… What’s ‘natural’ about eating rotting flesh!!
Loving all the veg and root veggies and BANANAS. Great shop, minus the
EGGS, GHEE, SARDINES!!! Come on girl, bacon? You really thinks that’s
healthy, or natural? Of COURSE you do well on carbs…. They are the
designed fuel for humans. You feel you heart hurts after bacon cos you know
it’s chad for your body. you NEVER feel gross on high carb vegan lifestyle
    :)

  18. Maria Ulloa

Tomato is a fruit not a vegetable, honey.

  19. Katie Halpin

Keep in mind cave people ate mostly what they could gather… Meat was hard
to come by…. Also, why would we take advice from people who died by the
time they were 30? Surely diet effected in somehow.

  20. Keegan Maloney

    fad diet is a fad

  21. dreamflight6000

Super interesting! Thanks for sharing. Growing up in the Midwest on a hog
farm…I’m just a meat and potato kind of girl. I couldn’t live with out my
potatoes and cheese curds. We are big on nuts and seeds too for snacks.
Henry likes to have them along with cheese curds b/c they are low almost no
carb and he doesn’t need insulin for that snack.

  22. pAleo

    I love paleo diet

  23. Matthew Fouracre

I’m new to this but shouldn’t you be getting meats from animals that eat
grass not grains, or is that like another level to the paleo diet?

  24. luvinlife225

Thanks for posting this Mama! I’ve been looking into Paleo, but I’ve
experienced a bit of information overload. Your videos will definitely help
    me out!

We sell farm fresh free range organic eggs. I was super lucky and they
have produced all winter long! Oh and our ducks just started producing
eggs. Duck eggs are so yummy :D
