Do you store yours in the cupboard or in the fridge? About how long does it last (shelf life)?
Thanks alot jemma .i tried the reciepe and it worked perfectly
I substituted all-purpose cream for the heavy cream, and I think it worked perfectly fine. The taste is also good.
Thanks for the recipe Jemma! 🙂
Can I use all-purpose cream?
Its also really delicious over french toast 😛 yummy
Hi Jemma, I seen many recipes for salted and unsalted caramel , most of them do use butter in their caramel. I never made caramel so I wonder what would be best? Does it stay runnier as a sauce without the butter?
I don't know why but every time I try to make it, the moment I put the caramel away from the heat, it starts to harden immediately and sticks to the pot… It's really tiresome trying to clean the pot afterwards, any suggestions why that might be?
Help me troubleshoot! My caramel turned out to be quite watery and there are clumps of hardened caramel. What went wrong?
Why did you have cupcakes in the back I guess you were going to fill them with the caramel
Can anyone explain why I have a slight bitter finish to my caramel? I must admit though I did a bit of a botch job with precise measurements although the outcome from aesthetically was spot on.
Salted caramel macarons please!!
+CupcakeJemma I love your channel. Every thing you make is awesome. I have been dying to make this and it's amazing my kitchen smells delicious. It almost ended in disaster because when I added my cream the sugar carmel clumped together but I but it back on the heat hoping it will melt and it did. Thanks so much.
