Paleo Diet Recipe: Venison Picadillo

Paleo Diet Recipe: Venison Picadillo

Here is what you need:

1 Lb ground venison
1 onion (chopped)
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 14.5 oz can stewed tomatoes
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 4 oz can tomato paste
2 Tbs Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tbs Balsamic vinegar
2 Bay leaves
1 bell pepper (chopped)

Brown the meat and set aside. Sauté onions and garlic for 2-3 minutes. Add bell pepper and heat for another 2 minutes.

Mix in tomatoes (stewed, sauce, and paste) and meat. Set burner on high. Mix in Balsamic vinegar and 2 bay leaves. Cover and bring to a boil.

Once at a boil lower to a simmer for 15 minutes. Remove bay leaves and serve.
