Food Ingredients:
10 mls (2 tsp)sunflower oil 2 mediums Onions, peeled and chopped 1 Clove garlic, crushed. 15 mls (1 tsp) curry powder 50 grams 2 oz sultanas 15 mls (1 tsp) dried mixed herbs 250 grams 8 oz red lentils 300 mls (1 cup) skimmed milk 15 mls (1 tsp) vinegar Ground black pepper. pn Salt.

Recipe preparation:
1 Heat the oil in a pan and gently fry the onions for 8 minutes. Add the garlic and fry for a further 2 minutes. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Place the mixture in a large greased oven proof dish and cover with foil. Cook in the oven at 180 c, 350 f, gas mark 4 for 1 and three quarter hours.
