I am Palestinian Shawrma is our traditional sandwich. This is not AUTHENTIC. We don't put lettuce at all. The Teheni sauce wasn't perfectly done. However, we don't add Tehini sauce to Shawerma we add it to Falafel sandwich. Whatever, good try :)

+Chantal Bergeron I agree on that one. "my mom's recipe is more authentic.. cause she's adds/leaves out _blank ingredient. " If 5 chefs were asked to make the same dish they all would have their own slightly different tweaks. While the fundamentals might be similar, the recipes may vary.

For the ones who make bad remarks about it not being authentic why don't you just give us the right recipe instead of trying to be smart and make bad comments. I am sure there is several versions of it anyway so you should keep your comments to yourself…
