My soy sauce and honey mixture was bad from the get go. It smelled like
alcohol. The finished product ruined the chicken and had such a foul smell.
I followed the directions idk what went wrong.

I don’t have low sodium soy sauce, only the regular kind. If I reduced the
amount of soy sauce I use, would it help it taste not so salty?

This is stupid, sweetness is good for desserts, not main course. I wonder
if Asians eat everything sweet in their countries. Here in Canada most
Asian food in restaurants is very sweet and oily.

I used low sodium soy sauce, the chicken was fine but the sauce was way too
    salty.
