Recipe ingredients and directions:
Liberian (Africa) Banana Cream of Wheat Bread
2 cups Cream of Wheat
1 Tbs sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup oil
Mix dry ingredients together. Gradually add bananas, egg, water,
and oil. Blend well. Bake in greased 8-inch by 12-inch pan for
45 minutes at 350 F. until knife stuck in center of cake comes
clean. Remove from pan and cool. Serves 4.
