Chicken Croquettes
Food Ingredients:
1 can cond. cream of mushroom soup – (10 ¾ oz) divided cup sour cream 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs 2 cups chopped cooked chicken 1 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper cup vegetable oil
Recipe preparation:
1 Stir together half of soup, sour cream, and mustard in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 3 minutes. Keep sauce warm. 2 Stir together remaining soup, 1 cup breadcrumbs, chicken, and pepper. Shape mixture into 4 patties; coat with remaining 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 3 Fry patties in hot oil in a large skillet until golden. Serve with warm sauce. 4 This recipe yields 4 servings.
