Showing everyone a easy way to set up a kettle BBQ for a long, low & slow overnight cook making some delicious pulled pork while relaxing and even getting a good night sleep. Some people call this the “The Ring of Fire” or “Sake Method” but whatever you wanna call it, sure does make my life a lot easier for a long low & slow cook and my Maverick letting me know the temperatures from over 300 ft away. Set the vents, shut the lid and let the kettle BBQ magic happen.
A pork butt is a easy cut to cook low & slow so “Give it a try” because everyone will love it for lunch or dinner.

Great video! That butt turned out KILLER!
What is great about this method is that you can cook forever with it. All
you have to do is keep adding charcoal as it burns around.
I’ve never commented on a YouTube video before, but I have to on this. I’ve
been struggling getting consistent temps with my Weber 18.5″ kettle, (I was
a dummy and thought it would be big enough), and was about to give up. This
snake method gave me 224-227 degrees for a solid 5 hours. The baby-back
ribs turned out perfectly in 4 hours per amazingribs.com’s Last Meal Ribs.
Everybody loved them, and said they were my best yet. I don’t have to throw
out the 18.5″ grill after all.
looks good
I have never seen those briquettes before although I have used Kingsford
competition briquettes. Are these the same?
Excellent technique for the Weber kettle!
Whoo hoo!
WOW What a great idea!
Like your channel. I subscribed. Just goes to show that a Weber kettle
can cook as good as a high $ smoker with the proper know how. That pulled
pork looks just right. Like how you used the natural hardwood briquettes.
Love it best <******
