The red wine vinegar adds flavor to the sauce, Dinda Bunga Larasati. If you
don’t have it, add apple cider vinegar or some red wine. Here’s a link to
the recipe so you may review all the ingredient amounts:

Thanks to your videos I am learning how to cook. I am 43 years old. I know
I know I should have learnt a long time ago. But thanks to your videos I am
learning now. I have already made chocolate chip cookies. And I have learnt
to make homemade custard pie. So I wanted to tell you that I appreciate you
and your videos. And thank you for giving me the courage and tools to learn
how to cook.
IS IT FATTENING
OMG yuuuuuuuuuum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried this for the first time last year
on the American cruise I went on…it is soooo good. I will definitely be
trying this recipe out.
My only suggestion (because it looked like a chuck roast, which usually has
a good amount of fat), would be, after removing the roast from the pot to
shred it, maybe use a fat separator to reduce the amount in the sauce (or
at least skim it) before re-adding the meat.
2nd!
Welcome! Enjoy the recipes – would love to hear your feedback on what you
cook.
Never made my own bbq sauce. This is a must try!
I just made this and can’t wait to eat it tonight! The only thing about
this recipe, your sauce after incorporating all the ingredients, looked
thick like ketchup. Mine, was a lot more liquid like but I put the exact
measurements…I don’t get it. Still, looking forward to it. Tx for recipe!

This looks so good. I will be skiming the fat off though.
