The Best Fish Batter
Food Ingredients:
2/3 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 tablespoon vinegar 2/3 cup water 1 pound fish fillets
Recipe preparation:
1 Stir flour and salt together. Mix vinegar and baking soda. Combine vinegar mixture and water with flour mixture. Beat until smooth. Enough batter for about 1 pound of fish. Dry the fish very well with paper towels. Dip into batter, fry the fish in grease (375 degrees) about 3 minutes or until brown and crispy.
