Sweet chilli chicken stir fry recipe – Waitrose
http://waitroselive.mymedia.co.uk/ – A really quick and easy sweet chilli chicken with vegetable rice stir fry, made with ready-made stir fry vegetables.
Ingredients:
800g pack essential Waitrose British Chicken Drumsticks
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
200g essential Waitrose Easy Cook Long Grain Rice
1 tbsp essential Waitrose Vegetable Oil
2 tsp Cooks’ Ingredients Toasted Sesame Oil
300g pack essential Waitrose Vegetable Stir Fry
Method:
1 Preheat the oven to 200oC, gas mark 6. Score the flesh of the chicken, place in a roasting tin and coat in 1 tbsp of the soy sauce and the sweet chilli sauce. Roast for 30 minutes.
2 Meanwhile, cook the rice in boiling water for 12–15 minutes, then drain. Heat the vegetable oil and sesame oil in a frying pan and fry the vegetable stir fry for 3–4 minutes, then add the rice and the remaining soy sauce and fry for a further 2 minutes.
3 Serve with the chicken, with any juices drizzled over.

"Two tablespoons of sweet chilli sauce". She puts the bottle down and shes put a quarter of it on the chicken lol. I actually had o rewind it to see that it was a new bottle when she started lol
Good to see she's washing her hands and board with all the chicken right there. Very responsible and all that.
Pitty however that put me off trying this now, as disease and cooking don't really mix well in my mind.
