My family LOVES this pot roast… I added some merlot wine to the
onion/mushroom mix..
I’m 100% cooking this tomorrow, this looks amazinggggggggg.
THANKS CHEF JOHN CIRCA 2011
Slow cookers of the world unite!!!
Cooking as I type, smells wonderful!!!! Have my parents coming over for
dinner, I know they will love it. Added a bit of champagne to mine ;)
Made this for my husband on Valentine’s Day and he absolutely love it!
thank you, very nice! I have a question, can you follow the same format
for cooking in a dutch oven, and would a larger thicker hunk of chuck be
done the same way as this inch thick 7bone?
This beef pot roast looks simple, easy and yummy!
MAN THIS LOOKS CRAZY! Wow!!!!!
I am making this right now. It smells so good. Thank you for the recipe.
🙂
could i do this in a pressure cooker and just cook it for like an hour or
something??
This looks so good! Will it still be good with the flour omitted (for those
of us with gluten allergies) ?
You use a 7 bone chuck roast, is that the best quality meat available for a
pot roast?
Im new to cooking and buying quality meat and I like trying recipes for my
slow cooker. My point is, this seems like a perfect recipe for an upcoming
dinner. However, my good friend (as I’m sure most do) prefers a high
quality meat, ex. using ribeye versus “flap” and I want to make this dish
for him and his son.
Thank you chef John! Made this tonight and needless to say it’s completely
gone. Super easy!
