Greetings! Fourth of July or Independence day is just about a week away and since we have all that time to prepare, I thought it might be fun to give you a whole week’s worth of ideas for making your celebration special without being stressful!
With that in mine we are starting our week off with a delicious and simple slow cooked spiral sliced ham that we make in the crock pot with some of my delicious “Almost Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ Sauce”. This ham is amazing and a nice change from what you may normally think of for a 4th of July get together. This is just one of the things you could consider offering besides the traditional burgers and dogs or brats, steaks and chicken. This goes together fast, cooks fast and can be put on warm for a long time without losing any of its flavor or appeal.
Serve this by itself with some regular BBQ sides like the ones we have coming up this week in future videos and you are going to be enjoying yourself with your family and friends and not be stuck in the kitchen working while everyone else is having a great time!
I hope you give this slow cooked BBQ ham a try and I hope you love it!
Happy Eating and Happy 4th!

i’ll bet some baked beans under that ham and it would be great… 🙂 a
meal in a pot…
I love slow-cooker recipes, year round. :)
I love getting these great cooking ideas and recipes from you. I was
wondering if you did any videos on storing leftovers. I have the hardest
time with that. Storing them and using them again. Like your BBQ sauce. How
do you store that for using again later? Thanks for all you do!!!
Wow never had bq on ham before looks yummy must try
That ham must’ve been some kind of good. You forgot to film the final
product !!!!! LOL I thought that was so funny. It looked delicious too
I found that deal on hams last year and went to look again this year and
our store didn’t give us that deal again!!! But thanks to you I do look out
for after holiday/season sales in our food sections.
Looks amazing Noreen! I do not have a slow cooker. Could I make this in the
oven on low heat? If so , what temp would you recommend. I have a large
family gathering coming soon & this dish would fit in perfectly. Its winter
here so oven is not an issue.
Noreen, I also like the orange pineapple slow cooked ham you did. :)
I would like to request that you make some homemade bread I would really
like to make some
I have got to get a machine like yours! This ham sounds so awesome!…
It’s seems like you have a passion for food. I would have never thought of
barbecuing a ham! So creative!
Guad – Smokin Deal

Looks delish. Recipe request can you make some croissants? My son is
wanting me to use the Sweet Roll Dough recipe to do it, but I would like to
make the actual recipe.
