Cream of mushroom and onion soup mix!?!? Man, I always did that with pork
shoulder in my crock pot as my bastardized rendition of pork chop braised
in cream of mushroom. DUH, of course you can substitute, chuck roast… why
did it never occur to me?
can I some how add potatoes, what would you suggest?
Watch how to make a classic easy to make pot roast in the slow cooker.
recipe was awesome ! tasted great thx
15 carrots would be just fine. 🙂
This is a great suggestion, Violet! Low and slow oven roasting is a great
substitute for a slow cooker.
Too much sodium in that recipe. Dried onion soup plus 3 can of mushroom
soup… not very healthy.
This is how we always had our roast 🙂
That look sooooo delicious!! Could you do that with chicken breast?
i dont have slow cooker how can i make this recipe without it??
Thank you for your question, Amari. You can certainly make this recipe with
chicken breasts. We’d recommend checking the chicken after 4 hours – it is
likely to be done in that time.
F@#$% im hungry.
just added another meal to thanksgiving.
You are welcome! We hope you try this recipe and let us know how you like
