Hi, I was wondering if we have to rinse the spaghetti?
This is one of our default dishes when we don’t want to put a lot of work
into cooking.
The original recipe it’ s only spaghetti, olive oil, garlic and salt.
Parsley is an optional just as chili is but cheese it is a no-way.
It is funny like people justify that with ” adds more flavor”
Of couse it does! Even nutella would add more flavor but this is aglio e
olio garlic and oil. If you add anything else just because it is italian,
you make a different dish.
I had indians friends for dinner and i made carbonara for them. Each of
them added something different. One added chut marsala and lemon juice. The
other one added catch-up and mayo and after the meal the first one said
that it tasted like indian food ( doho!?) and the other one said it tasted
like an hot dog …
I am sure tha if i take a chicken curry and add tomato sauce, basil,
mozzarella and olive oil it would taste better for me… In fact it would
taste like a pizza

Tried this with basil instead of parsley, as that was all I had in the
house. Turned out very well, even if I expect it will be improved a bit by
parsley. Trying that on monday. Sweet and simple dish!
