liquid smoke??? seriously? im going to have your BBQ license revoked..
Do you have a list of what’s in the rub?
Wow! That looks so delicious! I am going to pick up several huge Boston
Butts for sure. I have a new freezer and I could use a ton of your BBQ I
have not had my own homemade BBQ in so long, makes my mouth water. lol
Great video, Thank you
Hey, that’s us! We will definitely have to try out this recipe.
Here’s just a quick tip. I’m not who it was, may have been a guy named Ugh,
or maybe Arrg, but they have this thing called, a CHOPPING BLOCK. They are
really neat. Instead of having to chop meat in a stainless steel bowl, you
can do it right on the block. (>:
Thank you so much for making this. I will be (attempting) to cook up some
pulled pork tomorrow for the first time and this was a major help. Had no
clue how to even get rolling on this, but now I feel pretty confident.
Thanks again.
Looks good
Hi,
If I slow cook the butt on a grill, how long do II slow cook it the the
crock pot?
did it end up dry? i do it a lot and i do everything the same but i put abt
3-4 cups of spring water in it and then it just falls apart and then drain
it, return to crock pot with your favorite bbq sauce and let it go till
warm and serve…. but great vid… thanks alot
Very welcome! It’s in the fridge as I type, with the rub all over it! Did
it last night, gonna put it in the slow cooker early tomorrow morning.
Can’t wait!
Thanks! I think overnight is the best way. Even up to a couple of days. I
also heard it’s good to brine for a day first (if you feel like the time
and effort) Thanks for the comment.
Cheers dude
I’ve watched 5 vids for pulled pork so far, this is the best one. I’m gonna
do a similar rub and put it in the fridge over night too. Great tips.
I cook this all the time for the elderly. It’s yummy:)
Sorry for the delay I missed the comment. No it did not dry out. Slow
cookers generally keep in the moisture and very little water is required.
Your method seems sound, however I wonder if any flavor is lost with the
draining process.
This looks so good! I plan to try it next week!
