You could add the brown sugar and chopped garlic to the stir fry
ingredients if you like. It’s just that traditionally, green onions and
ginger is a common combination as a topping. I should have showed a piece
of chicken with a scoop of the topping on it. When we finish dinner, that
whole dish of ginger and green onion is all eaten. We probably could finish
two containers of that in one dinner. Thanks for your question and thanks
for viewing my video on Chinese Steamed Chicken.

Except for deep fry pressure cooker in my dad’s restaurant many years ago,
I have no experience with pressure cookers. I just watched a video on
pressure cooking, so it does cut down the cooking time. Thanks for checking
out my video on Chinese Steamed Whole Chicken.

Why the differences in recipe in video, especially with the brown sugar and
chopped garlic is left out in the recipe when showing stir frying
ingredients? Just trying to figure out why two different recipes. Is
Traditional recipe for small use and second recipe for larger amount and
storage? Does one refrigerate or freeze the large amount?
looks really good. Will try it

Great to hear you enjoy Chinese Steamed Chicken. Thanks for checking out my
video.
Thanks Dan, I used to eat this in Singapore, but you can’t buy it in
england. A cheap meal which is gorgeous.
Is this a proper way of steaming? If you place the chicken into a bowl that
is boiling, aren’t you double-boiling instead of steaming? Also saving the
fat drained from the chicken and the seasoning to make your own white rice
adds unique savory flavor.
Be sure to tell me how it turns out. Thanks for your comment and for
viewing this video.
Why didn’t you use a pressure cooker?
