Sadly following your guide didn't work for me. Ive never baked before so didn't expect it to be right first time. But I ended up with a single slab of non hardened caramel stuck to my cooking paper, can't even pluck of enough popcorn to fill my palm. Total fail and waste. My stove top couldn't reach the temps you suggested, and I set my oven to the temp you suggested in within 8-10 min the edges were burnt black. Not sure what went on. At least everything cleaned up nicely.

I am sure this caramel corn is absolutely yummy… But really, the recipe is far too much work for a quickly-eaten, sugary snack! Also, you are a lovely lady, but this American habit of licking/sucking on one's finger is gross…

Hi fructose corn syrup is deadly poison and a rat won't eat it. Only stupid fat people will eat it. But all of you unaware enough to not know that, please, eat up, and exit the gene pool. They actually add mercury to it. Yummy. How are your student loans?

+Jenny Can Cook is there a substitute for the corn syrup? Its really hard to find it here.. i tried making this using golden syrup, its tastes fine.. not sure though the difference
