the reason quinoa has so much more protein than other grains is because it is not a grain, its a seed
Black beans are also really high in carbs. Not good for someone on a low carb diet.
chia seeds are excellent as well, and very gentle on the stomach :)
I'm trying to add precooked quinoa I make to my diet since it's taste is almost a bit weak.

I have asked this of several vegans and no one has an answer. How does a person "go vegan" when they can't digest grains, soy, raw cruciferous, or legumes?
