Seafood Chowder: Creamy, filling & delicious | Totally Sacha

A hearty seafood chowder – especially for ‘Talk Like a Pirate’ Day (Coming up on the 19th September!) but great for anytime. Particularly, as a filling mid-week meal. Whether using pre-cooked seafood or raw, this dish always works a treat!

For 4 main-meal portions (or 8 starters) you’ll need:
450g Mixed Seafood (we used salmon, cod, haddock, mussels, calamari & prawn)
600ml Milk
250ml Double Cream
25g Butter
1 Tbsp Plain Flour
1/2 Red Onion (diced)
1 Potato (roughly 225g – diced)
1 Red Pepper (diced)
1 Chilli (finely sliced)
1 Garlic clove (chopped)
100g Sweetcorn
A generous pinch of Paprika
125ml Spiced Rum
Fresh Parsley (to serve)
Crab Claws (Very optional!)
