Iron Chef America Judge Reveals “Casa Teresa Punta Mita” Secret Recipe for Great Word of Mouth

This video is really my way of paying homage to the 2 amazing women restaurateurs who own and run the fabulous Casa Teresa “experience” in Punta Mita Mexico. If you are a guest at the Four Seasons or St. Regis you have undoubtedly heard about their gem of a restaurant by one of your fellow guests or a member of the local staff, as I was repeatedly during my stay at St. Regis in November, and this video is about why they have such incredible word of mouth reputation, and how they made this happen for their business.

First off, a bit about why I’m qualified to make this video and take up your time: I was a Judge of “Iron Chef America” Season 7 Episode 13.

I’ve been a high-level executive in the gourmet food industry for more than a decade. As Founder and President of Five Star Butter Co., my Super-Chef Client roster includes Gordon Ramsay, Bobby Flay, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Daniel Boulud, Alain Ducasse, Guy Savoy, Charlie Trotter, Charlie Palmer, Joel Robuchon, restaurants Le Cirque and Picasso, etc.

As President of the Jean-Louis Palladin Foundation, I had the privilege of eating numerous meals of “historical” gastronomic quality, and over the past 13 years in the Gourmet Food Industry, I’ve dined at too many World Class establishments for the good of my waistline.

I would be quite surprised if your experience at Casa Teresa in Punta de Mita is anything other than remarkable. And even more surprised if you don’t tell people about it. The “word of mouth” on this restaurant is like nothing I’ve ever encountered before — ever. Every single person we talk to at the St. Regis resort here invariably recommends it.

So in this video I spoke to the mother and daughter who own and run the place, and grilled them on their secret recipe for such incredible word of mouth…

Bon appetite!

PS: they have no sign, no website, no advertising… so if you want to find out about them, this is about the best you can do other than getting in a taxi and traveling down the back alley where they hold court…
