Hi there, This week for our meals, I cooked a meal each night to eat and then froze the remaining meal to build up my freezer meals instead of having leftovers. Rice, Cheese, and Bean Bake
Slow Cooker Crack Chicken
1 pound dry ziti or penne pasta
1 onion, chopped
1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning
1 pound lean ground beef
2 (26oz) jars spaghetti sauce
6 oz Provolone Cheese Slices
1 1/2 cups sour cream OR Ricotta Cheese
6 oz Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
2 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese, grated
Cook the pasta according to the package directions, drain.
In a large skillet, brown the onion and ground beef until done. Add in the Italian seasoning and spaghetti sauces. Let simmer for about 10 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9×13 baking dish. Layer as follows: 1/2 pasta, provolone cheese, sour cream or ricotta, 1/2 sauce mixture, remaining pasta, mozzarella cheese, and remaining sauce mixture. Top with the grated Parmesan cheese. Bake for 30 minutes.
